What is CVB? The CVB is a non-profit organization created for the Mexican Association of Hotels of South of Tamaulipas and the Government of the State, through their Direction of Tourism with the purpose of promoting Tampico as a touristy destination as well as businesses, attracting Congresses, Conventions, Fairs and Exhibitions to the City. Vision: To place the zone of Tampico and its environment as a favorite destination for the celebration of Congresses, Cultural and Sport Conventions and Exhibitions, Activities, as well as for incentive trips. Mission: Consolidate as a reliable Organization that places Tampico and the South zone of Tamaulipas like an ideal place to make Conventions, Congresses and all type of events that attract visitors, high lathing the attractive tourist ones whereupon it counts the destiny and increasing the rate of occupation of the lenders of tourist services, by means of elements of promotion and publicity, increasing the economic special tax of the zone that is translated in economic and social benefits for the population. Objectives: To mediate like an organization integrator of the public sector and private for the tourism of businesses. To place Tampico city as the main destination of the North of the Country, able to organize all type of events. To develop an administration of enterprise courts. To increase the rate of occupation of the lenders of tourist services in the actions that integrates the annual plan of work. To establish the strategies of commercialization of the lenders of tourist services of Tampico for the tourism of businesses. To increase the tourist economic of Tampico and its environs. Actions of the OCV to congressmen and organizers of events. Introduction of Tampico as a place of events addressed to decision makers. Contact by mail to decision makers, and other people who may influence on selecting event's destination. Decision makers are invited at no cost to get to know Tampico and its area. Support to local organizations to attend to conventions and congresses where the following event site will be determined, through visual material and promotional information. Inspection trips at no cost to event's organizers. Event planning and other services contacting support shall be provided, such as: Hotels, Convention Centers and expositions; airlines, ground transportation and all kinds of professional services for your event. Meetings between local groups and other entities to manage facilities for the event. Promotion of events to attract foreign visitors through shipments of correspondence and specialized means insertion. Event results measurement. Proposals, recreational activities and culturals for accompaniment as well as activities of integration for the members of an assembly. |
