GROUND CONECTIVITY
There are many roads that connect Tampico with the rest of
the country. The federal road 180, leads to Tuxpan, Veracruz
and from there to the south Gulf of México. The federal road
105, connects with Tempoal de Sánchez, Veracruz & Huejutla
de Reyes, Hidalgo from which these 3 “Huastecas” are
linked. At the same time, the federal road 70 goes from San
Luis Potosi to the capital of the State and to centre of México.
Finally, federal roads 180 & 80 (that goes to north and west
respectively) communicate Tampico with the remainder of
the State of Tamaulipas.
